I have been provided with a Nutrisystem plan in exchange for sharing my honest experience and results on my blog. All opinions are my own.
I can’t believe it’s been a month and a half since Ryan’s Nutrisystem journey began. I feel a little cheesy saying this so early on, but I am convinced that this is a great solution not just for Ryan but for me as well. Since he started Nutrisystem six weeks ago, we’ve made several changes and have been surprised at how simple the entire thing has been.
Nutrisystem recommends 30 minutes of exercise a day and Ryan started doing that when he began Nutrisystem, and the combination of that exercise and the nutrisystem food plan has helped him drop weight and inches each week. Seeing him do so well has, and studying the benefits of the food choices available on the Nutrisystem plan have helped me to improve my snacking habits and have even encouraged me to try new lower calorie versions of the meals I’m used to making. Plus, I started working out with Ryan and we’ve both found that doing it together and being able to chat during it makes us focus less on being tired or sweaty which makes it easier.
As I mentioned in my week 5 update, Ryan was sick at the end of last week. At that time I was feeling okay, but at the beginning of this week I caught it from him so we’ve both been sick. I was surprised that even though I was sick and drained of energy, I was bummed about missing our workouts because I had gotten so used to doing them together and having that time together.
Towards the middle of this week on Nutrisystem Ryan was feeling a bit better so he was able to do a few workouts this week and I did one with him yesterday. So, I think we are both back to full health and I’m excited to continue our workouts together moving forward.
This week Ryan weighed in at 234.5, meaning a 5 pound loss since last week and a total weightloss of 24 pounds. It seems like there is a decent chance that he will break through the 25 pounds down barrier by next week which is super exciting.

I missed some of the Nutrisystem food posts so looking back at this one. It’s hard to exercise when you’re sick. The best I can do when that happens, is yoga and just get some good sleep. The desserts here do look pretty good.
