Growing up, I loved the Little House On The Prairie books. I enjoyed reading about Laura and her childhood and following along with her as she grew up. One story that really struck me and still crosses my mind often, though, is when they were so excited to get a piece of candy for Christmas. Mr. Edwards brought Laura and Mary tin cups and a candy stick and those little girls were thrilled! While times have changed a little, giving candy treats for Christmas is still a tradition followed by many. But this year, consider giving this tradition a twist!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I’ve chewed gum with xylitol before and found it to be very satisfying. This candy sounds amazing. We’ll see…

This sounds interesting. I don’t normally give candy for Christmas but this could change my mind. I like all the things that it doesn’t have. I may give these.

I love Little House! I still watch it daily. Its a show you’re never to old to watch. The one where Mr.Edwards gave them the peppermint sticks is one of my fave. Thank you for the chance 🙂

I actually prefer sugar free candy. I’ve never tried this brand before but I am amazed at their selection of flavors. Root beer float, lemon, cranberry, pumpkin spice, eggnog, seriously sounds good to me.
I was able to try some lollipops that were made with xylitol and I couldn’t tell the difference. There was no bad aftertaste and it wasn’t too sweet. This is the perfect size for the stockings and love all the different holiday flavors they have too.
