Thank you to Ozobot for providing me with product, free of charge, in exchange for this honest blog review. All opinions are 100% my own.
The world is full of technology. Gone are the days where kids only had one wooden toy and the great outdoors, almost everything is electronically enhanced these days. Starting in elementary school, children are expected to learn how to use computers and small devices as those are almost necessary to succeed. This world truly lives and breathes technology. So consider putting the Ozobot under the Christmas tree this year.
I received the Ozobot Starter Pack. Technology typically makes me very nervous. We purchased a MAC computer even because there seems to be very little that can go wrong that restarting doesn’t fix. So, while my kids were stoked to get their Ozobot open, I was honestly a scared of it. Thankfully, Ozobot directions are really simple for getting started. Once I showed the kids how to start, they jumped in and started exploring on their own.
I loved watching them work with the Ozobot and create codes for it to follow. The lights actually flash the color it goes over and the kids thought that was really neat. They also very quickly realized that different patterns adjusted the speed at which Ozobot traveled. Another great feature they discovered is the ability to create different path codes on computer paper, which has opened a whole world of discovery for them! While we are just learning all the cool stuff this gadget can do, it has been an awesome experience so far and we highly recommend the Ozobot (who they have lovingly nicknamed Ozzie!)
Remember, programming is for everyone, not just the computer geeks! Learning how to program is a part of today’s world of communication. Whether children plan to grow up to be a farmer, engineer, doctor, or something else, Ozobot can help build their confidence and prepare them for the future.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
