December 4th is National Cookie Day! To celebrate, I’ve teamed up with Krusteaz to share with you some of their awesome products as well as creative gift ideas. I’ve partnered with Krusteaz before as well as purchase their products regularly because they offer a variety of delicious mixes that make cooking and baking easy. So for the holidays, be sure to consider using their yummy cookie mixes!
The kids and I love creating delicious treats to share with others. For Halloween, we made batches of cookies (including Krusteaz Meyer Lemon -full moons!- and spent an hour handing them out to the residents at the local nursing home. It was amazing seeing the joy on their faces as we stopped to say hello and give them a treat. So for Christmas, we are creating some delicious cookie jars for family and even a gift exchange! Here is what we came up with:
Rudolph Cookie Mix In A Jar
Use a glass jar and pour in a package from the Krusteaz Oatmeal Scotchie Cookies. Top the rest of the jar with red and green M&Ms. Seal with a pretty red lid. Take construction paper and cut out antlers and a red nose. (I didn’t have any large google eyes at home but plan to head to the craft store and purchase some. Otherwise, our Rudolph looked cute without as well.) Take or glue pieces onto the jar to create your Reindeer. Add a gift tag and be sure to write the instructions on the back so the recipient can make their delicious cookies!
Snowflake Cookies
Mix on any Krusteaz Cookie Mix and sprinkle a little flour on the cupboard and dough. Roll cookie batter out and cut with desired shapes. Bake as directed.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I also like the pancake mix

This would be great to bake for my dad since he prefers homemade baked gifts from me instead of expensive gifts. I don’t always have the time, so a box mix would be perfect and he doesn’t need to know! Easy to make them look festive too.

I like the quality of the Krusteaz mixes. It makes very good treats. I am teaching my granddaughters to cook and we are starting with cookies. I have used the Krusteaz mixes because they taste so good and I want them to know their efforts are making people happy.
