Chocolate, it really does have a place in our lives. Some make a place for each day while others, on a more weekly basis. Getting a box from Chococurb challenges your will power in a new way. The chocolate within a Chococurb Mini Box is so amazing you find yourself wanting to eat the whole box immediately. On the other hand a Chococurb Chocolate Mini Box will make you want to stash store and hide this amazing chocolate to delicately dish out tiny piece by tiny piece over a course of days or weeks!
Now I will be the first person in admitting when it comes to chocolate I have little will power and when it comes to artisanal chocolate, even less. As a whole a smaller box of chocolate makes sense for me because often times I probably will want to sit and eat it all right away. The Chococurb Mini is great for indulging personalities because it’s a bit less to gorge on.
The first chocolate that I tried was Alma a Hazelnut and sea salt Chocolate from Portland Oregon. There must be something in the water over in Portland because nothing but great chocolate comes out of that city. I loved this, my kids loved this, my mom and husband did as well. How’s that for generosity?
Up Next was Naive a honey blended dark chocolate. I would say that the undertones of honey within this bar were really light, although I’m not a huge fan of overly strong honey flavors I could have used a bit more int his one.
Drinking chocolate, rich, dark, flavorful, and best in small quantities. The only other time I’ve enjoyed drinking chocolate was in a fine chocolate shop in Portland Oregon. I loved it then and was glad to experience drinking chocolate again without the 6 hour plane trip. I read on the back of the package that I could use the sprinkles of chocolate for garnish as well as drinking chocolate so I did just that. Below is a chia, banana, coconut milk and peanut butter smoothie garnished with drinking chocolate sprinkles!

I usually try to win my dad some Valentine’s candy but this is a better option, so he can pace himself! I wonder how the chocolate holds up in the summer months though? It hits triple-digits here quite often in the summer and nothing is safe! Maybe chocolate flavored drink mixes or chocolate flavored coffee would be good to send in the heat.
