I love the way a rug can really change the ambiance of a room.  It can also help it go from drab to fab with a pop of flair and color.  A couple months ago, my husband and I moved back downstairs.  We changed out the carpeting and put in a real wood floor.  We love it but the room didn’t really feel cozy.  So we added some dimension by putting up some NuWallpaper and getting some new bedding.  That made a huge difference but the floor in front of the crib was still empty (and cold in the middle of the night when I got up to nurse our little girl!)  Then I came across Lorena Canals and they helped me complete our room.

We were sent their Galleta Blanco White Rug for review.  I immediately loved the simple, yet elegant design upon seeing it in person.  The scalloped edges are so pretty!  Made from 100% cotton, it’s nice and comfortable to stand, sit, or play on while not being overly fluffy.

Being that our little girl will be using this rug for play at times, I was thrilled to learn that it contains non-toxic dyes.  The rug is lightweight enough for me to move and rearrange but sturdy enough to lay nicely too.  My favorite feature:  Machine Washable!   As a mom to 5 little ones, the washing machine is my friend and I am over-the-moon about the fact that I can toss this gorgeous rug in without worry.
