It can be really hard to balance work and family. When I was younger, my parents worked a lot. (Actually, they still do.) So that left my sister and I home alone while our brother went to daycare. This made for really long and boring Summers so we began spending a week or two each month at our Aunt’s house. Even though she worked, she was home early in the day and we’d do all kinds of fun things. She’d take us to the lake swimming, out shopping, and just be there for us. What was also really great was the fact that they lived right next door to her husband’s family so that meant playmates! We’d spend hours each day playing Monopoly or Flag (a “cops and robbers” sort of game we made up to play in their woods.) Oh, but when night rolled around, we’d also have fun. It’s amazing how the darkness can make outdoor games extra exciting. From kick the can to ghost and more, we’d play outside till the bugs or cold would chase us in. Now that I’m a mom, I want my kids to experience those same fun times. Last Summer, that meant staying out past dark. The kids especially had a blast with our LED Light Up Football and Light Up Flying Ultimate Disc from GoSports. So when I saw their new cones, I just had to check them out.
The GoSports LED Light Up Sports Cones can be used during the daytime or at night. Designed to easily light up with the push of a button, these cones are perfect for low light training and sports. The set comes with 6 LED Cones and a pack of 12 replacement batteries. They are designed to have a 24+ hour battery life for long-lasting fun. Each light has three settings: On, Stobe Mode, and Off and each setting is activated by another push of the button on top of the cone.
The cones are sturdy and slightly flexible. I love the fact that they can be stacked for easy traveling and storage. While they do feature a water resistant construction, excessive water is not recommended as it could damage the LED lights.
We have found these to be great for a variety of uses. The kids enjoy bike and rollerblading obstacles as well as games and sport cones come in handy for blocking off the end of the driveway when the kiddos are playing on the cement. Overall, another fantastic product from GoSports!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. Super fun!! I always had so much fun playing outside in the dark as a kid, and even now lol!! There’s always so much magic in things that glow and the night time!! These would be so super fun!
What a great idea! These light up cones are definitely something I wish I’d had when I was a kid. When it starts getting dark out, it’s always a special time of day to play outdoors with your friends. I like the 3 settings, too – and the fact that can be stacked to save on space. Great find!
I’ve not seen these cones with the lights. I have one small red cone in my trunk in case of emergencies! These would be great for running games or at a race to mark the start and finish, in the early morning or evening dim light.
