Well, we are back from our family vacation and I’m here to update how our travels went with the Britax Car Seat Travel Carts.  You can visit my initial Britax Review to see some up close pictures of the carts wheels and features as well as read about my original thoughts.  But now that we are back, I wanted to let everyone know how it went!

Traveling with 17 people (only 8 being adults), 3 strollers, 2 car seats, and a ton of luggage, I desperately needed needed a way to get our car seats through the airports and to our hotel room and ship.  So Britax had sent me two of their Travel Carts for this Family Vacation.

After arriving at the airport and getting unloaded, we snapped the car seats onto the Travel Carts by way of the anchor system latches.  We piled the kids into the strollers and car seats and went on our way.  It was amazing at how fast we made it through the airport and security by having the kiddos all strapped in and accounted for.  To get the car seats and Travel Carts through security, they just did a “hand check inspection”.  This consisted of a security guard patting down and swiping the seats and carts which took less than five minutes.  Then we were on our way to our gate.

I loved being able to pull our car seats right onto the airplane and down the aisle till we found our seats.  Having the Britax Travel Carts made the entire process simple.  Once to our seats, we released the car seats from the Carts and were able to fold and store the Travel Cart in the overhead storage.  Because they are so compact, we had no issues putting them overhead, even on the two flights home that were both completely booked.

Both my brother as well as my husband got stopped repeatedly by people asking questions and complimenting these Travel Carts.  I even had one lady come up and request the brand and product name as her daughter was going to be traveling soon and needed something like this!  Overall, these Britax Travel Carts were truly a lifesaver.  Whether pulling with our 5 year old, 3 year old, 1 year old, or even just some heavy backpacks, it allowed us to travel with our car seats in an easy and efficient way.
