Thank you to Samsung for providing me with product, free of charge, in exchange for this honest blog review. All opinions are 100% my own.
Do you know what your kiddo is doing during nap-time, bedtime, or even when they are just playing in their room? Back when our second child (now 8 1/2) was little, we thought he was taking really great naps. Then I got a video monitor and we discovered that, while he was definitely being good, he was actually just quietly playing in his crib for most of his 2 to 3 hour “naps”! Since we didn’t hear him, we had just assumed he was asleep that whole time. When we’d check on him, we always assumed the door was waking him up so we stopped peaking in and only listened from outside. What a surprise when we discovered the truth! Well, that monitor has been broken for some time now so I was thrilled when I learned about Samsung’s newest baby monitor, the BrightVIEW SEW-3043W Baby Video Monitoring System.
Features Include:
- Video & HD Audio Monitoring Capabilities: The BrightVIEW Monitor allows caregivers to monitor by both sight and sound.
- 5″ Touch Screen Monitor: Utilizing a generous sized touch screen display, all the features at at the tip of your finger. Adjust volume, camera angle, and more.
- Pan, Tilt, Zoom: Easily control the position of the camera with the touch screen buttons. This enables a pan of 300⁰ left and right as well as a tilt of 110⁰ up or down! Just click the zoom button to get a closer look too.
- Two-Way Talk: With the press of a button, caregivers can talk through the monitor and soothe baby with their voice.
- Secure Wireless Technology: Feel at ease knowing that Samsung has created a secure connection for monitoring baby.
- Sleep Mode/Voice Activated: To save battery life, the BrightVIEW System can be set to voice activation as well as what level of sensitivity it should pick up. As soon as sound is detected, the monitor will immediately alert you.
- Night Vision: The included camera offers non-visible IR LEDs for night vision capabilities and automatically detects low or no light conditions and adjusts accordingly. This feature allows clear vision of baby, no matter the lighting.
- Night Light Option: The top of the camera has a small night light that can be turned on with a simple press of a button.
- Lullabies: Simply select and play one of the four pre-programmed lullabies to soothe baby to sleep by way of the touch screen unit.
- Pure, Interference Free Signal: Designed with a 2.4 GHz frequency, enjoy clear performance with an up to 900 ft range.
- Belt Clip Or Pop Out Stand: The parent unit offers the option of clipping onto a belt or waistband for easy monitoring while around the house while the pop out stand offers the option to self stand.
- Add More Cameras: Have more than one room/child you wish to keep an eye on? This system supports up to 4 cameras!
The BrightVIEW SEW-3043W Baby Monitoring System is amazing! I love the thoughtful design put into every aspect and the quality is high. One of my favorite features is the fact that I can pan and tilt the room. As children grow, this is an extremely useful tool to keep an eye on the kids as they spend additional time in their rooms playing. The crisp, clear picture is also a big plus as I’ve seen cheaper units that are blurry and grainy looking. Samsung truly offers top of the line features and performance with this great new monitoring system and I’ve been completely thrilled with each aspect.
Be sure to consider the Samsung BrightVIEW Video Monitor for all the moms on your list this year! It would be the perfect gift that will be used for years to come.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I love this! My son is 17 and we so didn’t have something like this when he was a baby but I would have been all for it as I probably worried too much with him being my first child!

I’d love this. I’ll have to show my husband. I cosleep with my 11 month old daughter, but will transition her to her own room when she consistently sleeps through the full night. I think a video monitor will help with *MY* separation anxiety. Haha
