Do you have a secure step stool to help you complete projects around your home? I didn’t until recently.
A couple of months ago, I was asked to review the GLA-5X step stool from Gorilla Ladder. I was excited for the opportunity to have a secure step stool to help me with my chores.
The GLA-5X Gorilla Ladder is perfect for all of your projects…indoors and out. This step stool is 5.5 feet tall and made with heavy-duty aluminum. The GLA-5X has a 250-pound load capacity. Dual platforms provide three times the standing area of a traditional step stool. The top of the GLA-5X has a project center to conveniently hold all of your tools.
When you are done using your GLA-5X, it folds shut for storage. Folded flat, it is approximately four inches in depth. That makes it easy to slide along side most refrigerators or to store in a linen closet.
My husband was the first to try our GLA-5X. He was pressure-washing the exterior of our home. We have a daylight basement. This makes it so that part of our house needs pressure washing two-stories high and the other part is three stories. The pressure washer we borrowed was doing a pretty good job reaching the top, but my husband needed a bit more height to reach the very top. He unwrapped the GLA-5X and set it up. With the help of the GLA-5X he was able to complete the job. He said he was impressed with how sucure the GLA-5X felt while he was washing the house.
Next was my turn to try the GLA-5X. I was hanging photos on the walls and couldn’t quite reach the top. I got out the GLA-5X and had my chore done in a matter of minutes. I appreciate how light this GLA-5X is. It weighs in at just 14 pounds. I can easily carry it from project to project.

Thanks you had me at” just 14 pound” thanks i really enjoyed this review hubby was saying just the other day that we really need to look for a good lightweight ladder i will show him this review.

Love that it can be compact and lightweight but still can become a full sized ladder perfect for anything!! How fabulous!!

My husband has one quite similiar, and loves his. I dont know what brand it is though. I love the stability these offer and how lightweight it is.
I love the sleekness of this ladder. Our wooden one is bulky and I wont use it because of that. I want to really look at this one for an inside ladder for me.
