Surprise My Pet subscription box

I was sent a Surprise My Pet box to review. All opinions are my own.

I’ve shared several Surprise My Pet dog subscription box reviews in the past. I am happy to be back with a review of another box. This is from the box that was sent to me the last week of May. I was traveling in June so that caused the delay. As usual, Surprise My Pet found really neat, creative products to include in their box. The May theme was ‘Fun In The Sun’

Each month, Surprise My Pet includes 5-7 items in their box. This always includes at least one toy and one treat, and sometimes includes accessories, grooming supplies or even an item for you as the pet owner. They recently started offering a cat subscription box if you want to receive items for your kitty.

The Fun In The Sun box was fun. Frank got really excited when I pulled out the toy turtle. My pugs seem to love plush toys that are smaller in size, this turtle was about the size of my palm and he’s been loving it. It’s nice and firm so it has stood up to play great so far and seems to be of great quality. The turtle has a retail value of $6.99. The second toy included was soaring turtle that had a plush body with plastic wings. The bird has a retail value of $10.99.

The third toy item was super unique. Incredibubbles are flavored bubbles that are made for dogs! Lots of dogs like biting at bubbles, but regular children’s bubbles aren’t made to be consumed. Incredibubbles are safe for dogs to ‘eat’ and even come flavored in a dog friendly varieties, we got peanut butter. I had never seen my dogs react to bubbles before so we tried these but the bubbles made them nervous. I passed the bubbles onto my sister who has a really playful new puppy so they could be enjoyed. Incredibubbles retail for $4.99.

We had three varieties of treats included this month. We got two small packs of Beach BBQ Bites, which I thought were a fun play on the idea of summer BBQ’s. Retail value on those was $8.99. The other treat was also fun with a summer theme, Fro Yo To Go! These are really soft, small yogurt bites. My dogs are never picky when it comes to treats, but they went particularly nuts over the Fro Yo To Go. They had never had treats containing yogurt so that was a neat discovery. The bag contained tons of individual treats (the bag said over 150) so this bag lasted us a really long time which was nice too. The Fro Yo To Go retails for $10.99.

The total retail value of everything included in the box was $42.99. The month-to-month price for Surprise My Pet for dogs is $35. Or, if you pay for 3 months at a time you’ll pay $99 which works out to $33 per box, an 8% savings. If you use my promo code EmilyReviews you can save 10% off any subscription. I learned that not only are the box contents fun for pets, but the company also supports charities.

The Incredibubbles product is so unique! My Yorkie never tried to eat bubbles though and not sure he’s like PB. These boxes are always fun to read about.

  • I did a double take when I saw Beach BBQ Bites. I know the woman behind them!
