It seems like every little, and not even so little, girl I know really enjoys pretend play. Whether it’s running around the house with a skirt on their head pretending to be a nun (okay, that was me when I was young!) or playing house, girls really love to pretend. I’ve found that our kids are especially drawn to playing with smaller toys such as playhouse sized dolls, animals, and mini-versions of almost anything. So I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to partner with Neat-Oh! and their Everyday Princess Line for this review.
When we visited the Neat-Oh! website, the Everyday Princess line has a variety of choices. Our older daughter turned 11 earlier this year and was immediately enthralled with all the fun choices. After several minutes, she settled on a these.
Since she’s always been a fan of drawing, painting, coloring, and anything artsy, the Julia Doll & Accessories immediately grabbed her eye. The easel is made out of cardboard so I’d love to see them offer a more permanent accessory but she had fun placing the included stickers on it. And since it is a harder cardboard, it should last awhile.
The Everyday Princess Dollhouse Backpack doubles as a storage place for all of our dolls and accessories as well as a playhouse. It unzips easily and free stands without issue. The front also has a velcro slide that attaches to the “yard”. This feature has been an especially big hit for our boys.
In our package from Neat Oh!, we also received the Pony Playset Bin and an additional Lucky The Pony Set. My biggest request would be that I hope they come out with additional ponies to go with the Everyday Princess Line as all five of our kids are constantly arguing over whose turn it is. Animals are always a hit and these ponies are simply adorable and so much fun.
The ponies and dolls go great together! The kids have been making up stories, games, and all kinds of fun scenarios with their daring duos.
The ponies are so popular that playing with them has now become a morning ritual. The kids race to the table with their ponies and mat and get busy pretending and playing.
All the pieces pack up so nicely and travel easily in their matching Zip Bins that we are able to take them along when I know the kids will have down time. The perfect example is our weekly piano, guitar, and violin lessons as we spend 2+ hours at their house each week.
All in all, the kids have been thrilled with the Neat-Oh Everyday Princess pieces they received. They’ve kept the kids busy for hours each day and their size is perfect as they don’t take up too much space, yet aren’t too little either. They travel easily and offer open-ended play for tons of fun.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I love how portable these are! I could make quite the mess with all my dolls and this keeps the play area organized and simple to pick up and go. I love the ponies too.
