As we continue sharing some awesome gift ideas for the upcoming holiday season, sometimes it’s a good idea to go with a trusted brand that is known for their quality. Founded back in 1884, the name BRIO is quite popular and well recognized. For over a century, they have been bringing a mix of innovative and Swedish heritage craftsmanship together to create toys that have been loved and cherished. The magic of play is offered up with their open-ended toys and kids are enthralled with all the possibilities. So today, I’m thrilled to partner with them on our next stop for our 2016 Holiday Gift Guide.
The BRIO Central Fire Station opens the world of pretend firefighting and everyday heroes. Brightly colored and inspiring, this set contains a variety of well-designed pieces that any inspiring fireman would need including: Fire Station, 2 Trucks, 2 Fireman, and several accessories. One of the included trucks even comes with functioning lights and sounds for an even more realistic sound effects! One thing to note, though, is that while the name BRIO tends to lead my mind immediately to wood toys, this particular set is made mostly of a high quality, very nice plastic.
While the BRIO Central Fire Station can be a stand alone toy, it’s also compatible with all BRIO wooden railway sets. This makes for a great option for a beginner BRIO fan or a fun way to add on to a BRIO collection.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I like the brio starter set
Oh, I love Brio! This was the train set that I made mine like. The cars all had magnets and stacked blocks of different colors. It was so darn cute!
