Sometimes it’s nice to get kids gifts that are just a little bit larger. Small items, while fun at first, can get lost and broken easily. Plus, when it’s something that’s functional and has a purpose, it’s more likely to be used. So today’s stop on the Holiday Gift Guide brings us to Delta Children.
Sending a big thank you to Delta Children for sending us these great items for review!
Because our girls really needed some additional storage options in their room, we started with the Disney Frozen Store and Organize Toy Box first. I was pleasantly surprised upon opening the box that there really were not too many pieces for assembly. (Always a bonus since the kids and I like to be able to do things ourselves!)
We checked out the directions first and then followed the pictures. We basically just had to slide the wall and side panels into each other and then slide the base on, and finish by adding the final side. This Toy Box also includes two dividers for inside that just slide into place as well. Once everything else is set, the cover just sets on the top.
Even though the first steps were actually applying the stickers, I decided to hold off till the end for that step as I was worried we’d end up with them on upside down. It didn’t hinder us at all waiting and they applied easily even when the toy box was fully assembled.
The final product is awesome. At first, I wasn’t sure what I’d think about the cover not being attached but I really love it now as I don’t have to worry about fingers getting slammed and pinched! It’s cute, sturdy, and extremely useful which makes it a great gift idea.
Next, we have the Delta Children Mickey Mouse Activity Easel. Typically easels immediately make me think messy art projects (which can be a good thing) but this one is so much more. It is actually designed with a magnetic dry erase surface for multi use capabilities! Opening this box was a little more intimidating though. When I saw the number of pieces needed for assembly, I decided to call my husband up for help on this one.
Thankfully, it truly didn’t take him long to get it together. The kids helped hand pieces and screw and we ready for play in under 20 minutes! (I think I need to learn not to get intimidated so easily when it comes to putting things together!)
The finished product is really great! The legs are wide enough to create a stable base, yet not trip every passerby. This easel is even designed to hold two baskets (included!) on the bottom which is perfect for magnetic letters and toys, art supplies, and such. Overall, it’s cute, colorful, eye-catching, and sure to inspire hours of fun every day!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I think Easels are a great gift for the holidays. It is great for teaching if you are a parent and it’s great for the child to show their creativity.

I have an easel with white board on one side and chalk board on the other and I just love it! It’s Mickey’s 88th birthday today too, so what better way to celebrate than with Disney gifts.
