Our kids absolutely adore playing games. While we do own a variety, many of our favorites come from Peaceable Kingdom. I’m particularly a fan because they offer a variety of cooperative games where kids are working together to win. I find these especially great for the younger age group because teaching teamwork at a young age helps create a beneficial and positive relationship to work with others as they get older. So today, I’m super excited that our Holiday Gift Guide stop is landing us at Peaceable Kingdom!
Sending a big thank you to Peaceable Kingdom for sending us these goodies!
Before we get to the games, I want to also point out that Peaceable Kingdom offers a variety of other fun things including some awesome stickers and temporary tattoos that would be perfect in the Christmas Stockings this year. Their selection includes a multitude of shapes, subjects, and topics. There’s something for pet lovers, fairy friends, outdoor critters, vehicles, dinos, and more. I know my kids love this sort of thing and it’s a very affordable way to finish off those little gifts.
Peaceable Kingdom has some oldie but goodie games that we adore but I’m always excited when they come out with new ones as well. Since our daughter loves fairies, their new The Fairy Game immediately caught my eye. Geared for ages 5 and up, kids work together to match fairy cards, gather the hidden magic gems, and slow down Mr. Winter’s chill. A variety of card combinations keep the game fresh and fun and kids love to try to save their garden together Since no reading is required, even younger children are usually able to join in on the fun!
Next up is their new Lucky Dogs Dice cooperative game. Fast paced and fun, this game is geared for ages 6 and up. Again, no reading is required so younger kids tend to love joining in on the play! Players need to work together and strategize as they match dice on the bone tiles, aiming to reveal the bones that spell out LUCKY DOGS to win. Kids need to think and work together so they can accomplish this goal before everyone ends up in the doghouse!
Finally, there’s always room in the game closet for a classic. So this fun spin on Checkers is a must have for pet lovers! The Cats vs Dog Checkers helps work on skills such as patience, taking turns, strategy, and that sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. I love the fact that Peaceable Kingdom added magnets to their pieces so they stay stacked when “kinged”! The rules are the same but the styles are changed. Super fun and sure to be a hit.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

games are a great way for kids to learn some wonderful character building with each other.
So many kids go nuts over stickers and the temp tattoos that these would be a hit. They are so affordable so you can get several sets too.
