While I really dislike having the television on constantly, I love having music playing throughout the house. However, every time I would try to put a speaker in our kitchen, it just looked terrible and got in the way. The other option that left us with was cranking the living room speaker so loud (so we could hear it in the kitchen) that nobody could actually be in the living room. However, that’s all changed now. Enter Honeycomb Audio.

The new Honeycomb Audio Wireless Bluetooth Portable Speaker (Model HC-1) is sleek and stylish and delivers amazing quality sound. It’s currently available in two color options: silver with white trim or black with red trim. For this review, I chose the silver as it’s a more neutral tone that would go better in my kitchen. This hexagonal comb shaped speaker looks truly unique, yet chic.
Upon opening, there was really no assembly required. I just had to attach the necessary cords to each other, the speaker, and then into the outlet. After pressing the power button, we were ready to rock.
Because of the unique shape, this unit easily delivers natural fidelity & wide angle sound through the four 2″ full-range speakers. A powerful, yet low distortion 40 watt amplifier offers resounding base and volume that easily fills any room. The Honeycomb Audio Wireless Bluetooth Speaker is also designed with a high capacity portable battery power which offers all day enjoyment, wherever life should take you.
While we have not yet used these features, the Honeycomb Portable Bluetooth Speaker also features inputs for playback from 3.5mm, micro SD/TF card, and USB flash drive. Plus, the power bank function allows for charging of mobile phones which could really come in handy.
Overall, we love our Honeycomb speaker! It is so easy to use and I’m thrilled to finally have something that looks great in the kitchen and can provide gorgeous sound too. We’ve used it every day since it’s arrived and I love being able to enjoy music while I’m cooking!
