Hollywood darlings

I partnered with Hollywood Darlings on this post and was compensated. All opinions are my own.

Tomorrow, April 12th at 8pm ET on Pop TV channel a new show called Hollywood Darlings will premier. I am excited to watch it because it features some of the stars who I loved when I was a child, and because it has a unique show style.

The show stars Jodie Sweetin (of Full House and Fuller House), Beverley Mitchell (of 7th Heaven), and Christine Lakin (of Step By Step). The show is designed to be a mix between a fictional comedy show and a reality show. It is not a reality show, but it’s based on the real-life friendship of these three stars, and their lives as they live in LA and navigate motherhood and their careers.

The show style is called an improvised comedy. The show tackles nuggets of the real life happenings between these three women and turn them into full episodes. The characters in the show take the women’s real-life personality traits and exaggerates them somewhat, but the general theme and story line is based on real life.

While each episode has a basic framework that all the women are familiar with, the exact dialog is unscripted so that more of their real life personalities can shine through while they are acting. I had never heard of an improvised comedy before so I find the concept really unique. I also had no idea that these three actresses were friends in real life! I am excited to see how they interact together, and to get a glimpse into what their lives are really like. They also have a great natural chemistry and a lighthearted relationship.

This sounds so nice. I remember all 3 shows and I like the actresses. My 32 year old daughter lives with me and we love to watch these kind of shows together. Girls night hiding from my husband and he son!

It sounds like something I would like to try and watch. I would like a light and lively show to watch. Life is tough right now… we need a laugh.

I saw the commercials for this show! I’m not sure I would make it a point to catch this regularly. Although, I might try an episode to see how I like it.

Since I don’t have a TV I won’t be watching it. It does look interesting.
