Growing up, my sister and I would spend much of our free time playing games. Since we lived in the country and didn’t have any friends close by, it was a great way to pass the time and something that we could do with just the two of us. Even when we’d go visit our aunt for a week or two at a time during the summer, much of our visit would include playing games with her husband’s nephews who lived next door. Now as a parent, I’ve passed my love of games on to our children. On any given day, you will find several of our kiddos around the table with a game in the middle. So for today’s stop on our Easter Gift Ideas, I want to share a couple of Wonder Forge’s newest games.
Sending a big thank you to Wonder Forge for sending us these games!
The new Wonder Forge game,Despicable Me 3 Linked Up, is perfect for those minion lovers. Get ready to connect the dots but don’t get crossed in this easy to learn strategy game that offers lots of fun. Get linked up with Gru, Dru, and the Minions as you start with just four links and play them to connect the dots. The more connections you make, the more cards you earn but play skillfully and work hard as you also try to thwart your opponents! Whoever is first to complete a set of cards wins this fast paced game. Geared for 2-4 players and ages 6 and up, it takes about 30 minutes to complete. Each box contains the 4-piece game board, 32 links, 60 cards, and instructions. Retails for $14.99.
Next, Flight of the Jaquins, will become a quick favorite as it is based off of Disney Channel’s Elena of Avalor. Join Princess Elena and her friends on their tricky treasure hunt and soar through the kingdom to be the first to collect all the treasures. Adventure and strategy as well as three levels of game play keep Flight of the Jaquins exciting and fun. Get ready to collect tokens and gain powers to increase your advantage during play! Geared for 2-3 players and ages 5 and up, it takes about 20 minutes to play (slightly less for level 1 we’ve found). Each box contains a cardboard style game board as well as dice, cards, tokens, tile, and instructions. Retails for $19.99.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
