Dr. Keith G. Ryan and George Carradini were in search of a sports drink that would allow them to rehydrate with important electrolytes and vitamins but didn’t have any corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, or sugars. They couldn’t find anything so, they got in touch with a lab and started working on a sports drink recipe that had all the ingredients they wanted and none of the harmful ones. The winning sports drink recipe was called Peak Hydrate.
Peak Hydrate is a zero calorie, zero carb, and zero glycemic index sports drink. It has no artificial sweeteners or colors. It replaces electrolytes, has anti-oxidants, and vitamins B6 and B12. That means it will rehydrate you without causing an energy crash a few hours after drinking it.
For my review, I received a “tub” of Peak Hydrate Lemon-Lime sports drink mix. I was really curious about the product when it arrived; the packaging was unlike any sports drink I have seen. I opened the tub, used the enclosed scoop and made a Peak Hydrate drink. I liked it!
Peak Hydrate has a very light, clean, refreshing lemon-lime taste. I had my Husband and children try it too, they also liked it. I LOVE knowing that I am drinking a sports drink that is actually taste good, is good for me and isn’t counter-acting all of my hard work to lose weight!
Peak Hydrate is currently working on developing new flavors. As the company grows, I would love to see them explore other packaging options.
You can find Peak Hydrate on their website and facebook pages.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
