I live in a very small town and the only place here to buy any groceries at all is a dollar general. Seems how I am 15+ minutes away from any other stores, we end up at Dollar General fairly regularly. Most people think of Dollar General as a place to buy things like craft supplies, grocery staples, and personal care items. However, Dollar General also has clothing. You can check out their selection via the Dollar General Apparel Book. I was quite surprised at how cute and modern the clothing is. My two favorite picks are below. I could definitely see myself wearing these tanks that are $15 each, and I never would have guessed that you can get baby/toddler swimwear for $9 – and they even have your kids’ favorite characters on them. Every little girl I know likes princesses so I’m sure the princesses bathing suit would be a huge hit.

I never would have guessed that any of the items above came from a dollar store because they are so modern looking. I can’t tell you how many times i’ve walked into DG and not really even glanced at theier clothing section but I’ll definitely be doing so in the near future. I’m all about saving money while still finding cute clothing to wear and it seems like dollar general is up for meeting that challenge.
