With summer just around the corner, I have to start preparing. I’m extremely pale, and for me, summer means making sure to take extra care to protect my skin. A few years ago, I was on a medication that made me especially prone to sunburns, and ever since then I’ve been really careful about protecting my skin. I wear sunblock everywhere I go. I’m the person that has to re-apply the sunblock after swimming, or after a few hours, and even then I can still burn. My friend suggested awhile back that I get a parasol, a cute way to protect my skin, and I’ve been in love with the idea ever since.

This Bella parasol is just plain gorgeous. The lace is beautiful, and great quality. The handle is wood, and very sturdy. It’s such a cute, and glamorous way to stay shady in the summer. There is so much detail in the lace.

It’s such a pretty, flowery pattern. I like that only the edges of the umbrella are see-through, to allow for great sun protection. I was lucky enough to have a few sunny days since receiving this parasol, and it worked great to shade me from the sun. I didn’t have to worry about getting sunburned, or even about putting on sunblock before walking my dog, or doing shorter activities outside. It’s been great!
The parasol from Lace-Parasols itself is really sturdily built. I wouldn’t be afraid to take this to the beach, where it can get windy. The lace isn’t thin and flimsy, like lace for clothing often is, so it could definitely hold up in the wind. It also fully closes for storage. Some parasols are meant solely for decoration, and do not close, but these are meant to be fully functional, and close like any umbrella.
Such a pretty parasol like this is the perfect accessory for summer. It’d also make a great, unique Mother’s Day present.

It looks so sturdy! I love that the lace is soft and thick. The cheap thin lace that is used by some designers wrinkles so easily.

I agree. I was worried about getting a lace parasol at first, because I thought it would be flimsy, and get wrinkly, etc., but this parasol is very sturdy, and the lace is great.
