Little C loves playing with cars, trucks, etc.  He also loves to take apart his toys whether they are made for him to take apart or not.  He has been taking stuff apart since he was about 2 years old.  The bad thing about that little habit of his is that he can never put whatever it is he took apart back together the way it is supposed to go.  It has always been crazy to me what he would take apart.  He loves to explore, he loves to know how things work and he likes to build so I am always on the lookout for toys that aid in this interest of his.

When I found out about MOTORWORKS, I jumped at the opportunity to review one of their fire trucks and one of the monster trucks.  MOTORWORKS offers the only line of customizable wooden toy vehicles.  You may be wondering what is so unique about these wooden vehicles.

For my review I picked the FX Fire Chief and the FSX Monster Truck from the Extreme Series.  I picked them out myself because I wanted to surprise Little C with them.  When we received them in the mail he was so excited and he couldn’t wait to open them.  I also got to pick an accessory pack to go along with the vehicles.  I chose the Racing Wheels because I thought Little C would enjoy changing out the tires, especially with them being different

colors.  I was not disappointed with his reaction or how durable these toys are and Little C has not been disappointed with the amount of fun he has had with his new trucks.  He loves the fact that he can put them together however he wants to.  There are no rules to these toys and I think that is awesome!  It lets Little C’s imagination go wild.  He will even sit at the table and put his trucks together while I do my school work.  There has honestly never been another toy that he would do that with.  To me this toy from MOTORWORKS is a huge success!
