About six weeks ago, Ryan made the switch from traditional cigarettes to e-cigarettes and hasn’t used a traditional cigarette since. This was a huge step for him after smoking regular cigarettes for almost six years. In the past, he had tried e-cigarettes but wasn’t willing to make the switch because they weren’t 100% the same and he wasn’t ready to give up any part of smoking. He finally decided to accept the small changes and it’s been easier than he thought. I’m proud of how far he has come and am thankful that he’s no longer harming himself quite as much.

Since making the switch, he’s tried a few types of e-cigarettes and has been surprised that almost each brand and type have unique benefits and downsides. Seems how each company is different, I would expect most people to have to try a few types before deciding which one is right for them. One of the brands that he has tried is Vaping Vamps, as we were sent a starter kit from them to review.

Vamping Vamps is a brand that is actually aimed at women but Ryan isn’t bothered by colors and decided to give them a try. He thought they might offer unique features that the other brands he had tried did not, and we were correct.

Vamping Vamps starter kits include cartomizers which combine cartridges with the atomozier (unlike some e-cigarette brands) which makes the overall e-cigarette only two pieces instead of three, making them more simple. It also means that they can be used with other batteries more universally.

Vaping Vamps e-cigarettes are black with a small bit of purple on them, though you can’t really see the purple while in use anyway. Prior to using e-cigarettes, Ryan smoked Marlboro Reds which are fairly strong cigarettes. So, at first it was a struggle for him to find an e-cigarette cartridge that was strong enough for him. Yet, we’ve been surprised how quickly he has been able to step down the strength of cartridges without any withdrawal or craving issues.

Ryan has found the cartridges from Vaping Vamps to be pretty light or weak in comparison to other cartridges that he has tried. We were sent their high level and they also offer medium and light which would of course be weaker than the ones we were sent. This is great for those who are looking to step down from more powerful cartridges or perhaps for people who are just switching to e-cigarettes but were used to smoking lighter cigarettes than Ryan was used to smoking.

Ryan liked that they have unique flavors such as tobacco with mint and Mango Lola both of which he found to have a more interesting flavor than flavors from other brands.

When using the vamping vamps cartomizers with their own e-cigarette, he found that the cartomizer and the battery didn’t have a very tight connection so he would put his finger around the area where they connect so that he could get a stronger inhale. He tried using the cartomizers with batteries from other companies and that seemed to fix the issue. We don’t know if this was just a fluke or not as we have only tried the one battery.
