I know you are wondering what Wummelbox is. I was curious as well and jumped at the opportunity to review one when I was contacted. If your kids love crafts then they will love Wummelbox. Wummelbox, the European-style arts and crafts subscription service for kids, is designed to inspire learning, creativity and exploration. Wummelbox provides you with all the materials needed for each craft. Each box is based on a particular theme (Nutrition, Music, Color, etc) and includes 3-4 projects for you and your child to work on together. The arts and crafts are suited for children 3-8. Wummelbox offers 3 subscription options for you to choose from if you are interested in checking them out.
We received the Time Travel Wummelbox and Little C loved it! Little C really enjoys doing art projects so I knew that the Wummelbox would be perfect. Our box arrived and Little C couldn’t wait to open it! The projects are neatly separated and come with directions for each project. I was amazed at how much was in our box.
The first project we worked on was building a time machine! My husband and I had to explain what a time machine was to Little C, but it was nice that he had fun creating his very own time machine and he actually learned while he played. It really was an awesome experience to watch him play with his time machine once he finished building it. Little C and my husband traveled to see the dinosaurs and much more! It was great!
The next project we worked on was a cave painting. Little C was able to make his own stamps with foam pieces and wooden pieces that he was able to stick the foam to. The material that Little C used to make his cave painting on came in our Wummelbox. It was quite big as well! He was able to make his cave painting with his stamps and then he painted some of his own pictures on as well. Little C was able to use it creativity and was very proud of his creation.
The last project we did and Little C’s favorite was the Hunter and Gatherer game. We were sent 3 colors of felt, some safety scissors for Little C and a mammoth to paint. I had to help Little C cut out the pieces we needed from the felt, but he was able to paint the mammoth and help me put it together. When we were done getting everything ready, I laid the different colored animal tracks down on the ground and Little C rolled the dice that he painted. He would jump to the different colored tracks until he found the mammoth. He absolutely loved this game and played it several times in a row.
These art projects are projects that will be around our house for a very long time. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to review a Wummelbox and Little C is as well. If you would like for information check out their facebook page. You will absolutely love the boxes. I know we did!

Well now I know what a Wummelbox is! I would recommend them as a babysitter and do love the themed boxes so kids can focus on one thing and sort of master it.
How I wish I had little kids again to do these kinds of crafts! I’m looking forward to summer when my niece and nephew stay with me! I bookmarked this activity to do with them! Thanks!
