If you have a little one with long hair, then you know the battle that takes place every time you try to comb or brush that hair. Agh! I have two little girls with long fine hair. I have been tempted to give them short haircuts so many times. …and now our morning battle is even worse because both girls are taking swimming lessons. Long fine hair + harsh chlorine swimming pools = DISASTER!
I stumbled upon a company called Fairy Tales Hair Care. Fairy Tales Hair Care is a line of natural hair care products for children. They have several product lines to fit your needs including: Rosemary Repel, Lice Good-Bye, Sun & Swim, No More Knots and Bad Bugs. Fairy Tales Hair Care products are free of parabens, sulfate, dairy, soy, nut and gluten.
For our review, we received three products from the Sun & Swim line: Lifeguard Clarifying Shampoo, Lemon-Aid Conditioner, and Coco Cabana Spray.
Lifeguard Clarifying Shampoo and Lemon-Aid Conditioner work together to remove sea salt, chlorine and build up. They use fruit extracts, vitamins and minerals to leave your hair clean, soft, shiny and protected.
CoCo Cabana Spray contains banana leaf extract and coconut oil. It was designed to protect hair from the sun and surf.
We have been using these products for a few weeks. They seem to help control the tangles and keep the chlorine from completely destroying the girls’ hair. The girls love the Fairy Tale design and tropical smells. I appreciate the reduction in tears each time I style the girls hair.

We’ve used the swimming products when my daughter with waist long hair was in swim club and it worked great!! She always had tangles-but after no more tangles equals no more tears equals happy mommy

I absolutely love the Lemon-Aid Conditioner by name alone…hehe….With summer here, I can see these being a must-have for soooo many parents!
I have very long hair, can I use it? Seriously, I mostly use products designed for kids on my hair because they work better. No tears for little ones means no tears for me either!
