Thank you to Kiwi Crate for sending me samples free of charge, for review. All opinions expressed are my own.
Kiwi Crate is a great company that encourages creativity and hands on learning fun. Kids love crafts and projects that are fun and engaging. Our daughter could do crafts and coloring all day long if I let her. The boys will do crafts but they need to be a little more hands on than just cutting and coloring. The problem with crafting is, I am usually short on the supplies it takes to complete any ideas we come up with. Kiwi Crate has solved this problem by having everything you need in one box. Kiwi Crate makes doing projects, crafting, and activities with our kids fun and easy as we spend our time building and creating together. If you want a delightful time, check out Kiwi Crate as they have taken all the stress out. They have taken care of every aspect.
We were sent the Making Music Kiwi Crate and the Fun With Flight Kiwi Crate. I’ve ordered crafts and boxed curriculum from other companies in the past when I was doing daycare and those packages left a lot to be desired. So I was hopeful but reserved when opening our first Kiwi Crate box. We started with the Making Music Kit. As soon as we opened it, I noticed there was a picture on the inside cover letting us know what was inside. Our 6 and 8 year old each quickly claimed an item. I handed the kids their corresponding directions as I continued looking at all the items in the box. While the kids did need some guidance, they were mostly able to accomplish their crafts alone. A friend and myself both helped the kids and were right there participating but the kids were so excited that they just enjoyed our company and asked for very little assistance. I really liked the fact that the Music Kit also included some additional cards and instructions for even more instruments that could be made. This worked in my favor since our 2 year old did not want to be left out. We ended up creating an additional three instruments on top of the xylophone and rhythm bells, which were the included craft projects. All pieces and materials that were needed for the main two projects were included right down to some colored pencils to decorate the wooden beads for the rhythm bells. I love that you don’t have to go searching the house for even the smallest detail as it is all covered in your Kiwi Crate box. Making music is fun and Kiwi Crate made it stress free.
Our additional instruments included a trumpet, washboard, and flute.
The second kit we received was the Fun With Flight. This kit also contained two main crafts: Rad Rockets and Flying Kites. We decided to try the Flying Kites first. The Kiwi Crate had enough supplies for three kites so each of our three oldest kids made one. Again, the 8 and 6 year olds needed very minimal help while our 2 year old assisted with what he could. The kites were a lot of fun to make and even included face stickers. The fact that all the supplies were included made the afternoon so simple but so much fun.
After finishing the kites, we decided to put them to the test and see if they could fly. The kids couldn’t wait and were very hopeful. Luckily, it was a breezy day so the conditions were perfect for our test run.
As you can see, it was a success. We spent over an hour outside playing with our new kites. So not only did we have quality time creating, we had quality time playing as well. Since we had such a great time with our Kiwi Crates, we decided to save our rocket project for another day. Our family had a really great time exploring, creating, and playing with our Kiwi Crates and we think your family will too.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

This sounds really cool. I love boxes like this, but haven’t tried the Kiwi Craft brand yet. It sounds perfect for summer.

That is really cool. I love when the kits have everything we need
We have gone thru a few kids sub craft boxes and have only found 1 that we like. This one looks way better than that even! With the kids out for Summer, I’m totally checking this one out!
