As a child, I remember creating elaborate worlds for my small dolls or other toys right before bed and then having to tear them down and clean up before bed and feeling like I didn’t get a chance to really even play with the world I created. I think most people remember feeling that way sometimes. That’s why I think it’s so neat that there is a new line of Polly Pocket toys that use Command strips to allow the toys to attach to the wall so they are up, out of the way! Command strips are designed to not damage your walls, so you don’t have to worry about paint being chipped. My niece Ava was recently able to check out the Polly Pocket Wall Party Tree House Playset. She has several Polly Pocket sets but none that attached to the wall like this, which she thought was really neat. We were able to place it in the place of her choosing right at her height. Polly’s shoes and the other small accessories that came with the set all have suctions so that they will stay in place, too. She loved it. Her favorite part was the the “special fort” (as she called it) that attaches to the tree house with a slide! She also really liked the door that opens to allow the cat to fall through onto her bed. I wasn’t surprised that these new Polly toys were fun for Ava, though as my little sister started playing with Polly Pocket at age 3 and still plays with them almost daily now that its been about 6 years! That’s a huge chunk of her childhood that Polly Pocket has been able to hold her interest and I feel that it really says something about the quality and amount of play potential that these toys offer.
Right now, you can use the Amazon store below in this blog post to save on Polly gear. The tree set that we reviewed is just $11.99, and the Polly Pocket Wall Party Ultimate All-in-One Playset is 36% off! Great prices if you have a birthday party or special event coming up. It’s not too early to think about putting toys away for Christmas, and then you’ll have less to worry about this fall.
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Polly Pocket. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
