Shoes For Crews is a company that strives to make great shoes for people who are on their feet long hours or in wet conditions. My husband is a dairy farmer and is on his feet a minimum of 12 hours a day and can be as much as 18 hours during certain times of year. We’ve also had rain almost daily for the past three weeks so he’s been working in pretty wet conditions as well. He tends to go through a pair of work boots about every three to six months. Shoes For Crews sent a pair of their Atlas, Mens Brown Work Boots to review.
Since my husband was the one to test these shoes, the following part of the review is from him.
I liked these work boots immediately but the real test would be wearing them every day for the long hours. The first thing I noticed is that they are light weight. This is great to have since I’m on my feet so much. I’d estimate that they are about half the weight of my previous pair of work boots. That is huge. The inside liner is smooth and breathable. I could tell the difference the first day wearing them that my feet were able to stay cooler and not get all hot and sweaty. Some shoes just make your feet feel stuffy and these were the opposite. Nice and airy. The grips on the bottom are nice and shallow. Deep ones get mud and dirt stuck in them and can be uncomfortable. These work boots have small grips that are about the perfect depth. They keep me from slipping but don’t drag mud and debris everywhere. The tongue on the boot is thin and connected to the shoe which makes them easy to put on. With all the wet weather we’ve been having, I’ve had to work in the rain a lot. My feet have stayed dry and comfortable the entire time. After wearing these boots hard core for a week (12+ hours a day/ 7 days a week), I still like them and have no complaints. They are very comfortable and have never made my feet hurt. Some boots and shoes seem to have an adjustment period before you can comfortably wear them but not with these. From the first time I put them on, they have been comfortable. Not too many shoes impress me but these do. They seem very well made and I expect that they will last longer than other work boots I’ve had in the past. If you are looking for a good pair of work boots, I would recommend the Atlas Work Boots from Shoes For Crews.
As you can see, my husband was impressed. Some stats for his work boots that he didn’t mention were: a non-metallic composite safety toe, premium full grain leather upper, SFC V-GRIP slip resistant outsole, high grade hardware, ACE cushion and support system, non-marking outsole, and reinforced heel. It seems that they have thought of everything. Shoes For Crews carries a wide range of shoes for both men and women, accessories, overshoes, and mats. Their shoes range from athletic, casual, clogs, and dress, to their work boot lines. If you or someone in your life has a job that keeps them on their feet long hours or working in slick conditions, I suggest you check out Shoes For Crews. They have shoes that would be perfect for nurses, teachers, restaurant workers, and many other occupations.
Shoes For Crews has been providing quality slip resistant safety footwear for over 25 years and continue to lead the way as a global distributer of slip-resistant footwear. They even have a 60 Day Wear and Compare Guarantee. You can try their shoes risk free for 60 days and if you are not 100% satisfied, they offer a free exchange or E-Z return. When my husband wears these boots out, we will definitely be paying Shoes For Crews another visit.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I have been surfing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before. -
I just ordered the Mercury work boots for men I hope they are as good as the ones in this review. They should be any I got them on sale for 98 but normally theywere 174 so they normally cost a lil more than the ones in this review. Ill be happy if they are just as good thou everything ive read about the ace workboots that shoes for crews carrys has been positive. So im sure ill love them . After I wear them a week ill come bk and let eveyone know how they were .

I used to buy my all boots from shoes for crews. They discontinued the pair that I used to wear, so I ended up buying a pair of ace work boots ( I don’t think it is the same one in this review but still is a ace brand). I had read a couple reviews on a couple different models about their being a issue with the back of them. There was some kind of thin metal piece, possible used to hold the shoe together, that after just a few months, will wear thru the fabric and cut into your heel when you walk. I only saw a few, and thought nothing of it. They where the best pair of boot I have ever owned. Everything you husband said about his pair, was the same about my pair. That was up until yesterday when that metal piece wore thru the fabric, and cut into to my heel so bad it was actually bleeding by the time I got home. I was left with no choice but to run to the store and buy a new pair, has I could not wait for shoes for crews to send me a new pair, and this pair was completely unusable, unless I wanted to destroy my heel more than it already was. I called shoes for crews, and they told me that because I was literally 2 days out of the 60 day period, they could not refund me, only exchange them for anther pair. So I jumped on their website to see if there was any other boot I could use (not that I really needed a pair, because I was forced to go the store and buy a pair so I could keep working, but having a second pair, is better than having a $100+ paper weight), only to find that aside from the very select few of their own brand, none which fit what I need, all they carry is ace, of which there is a clearly a problem. Now I need to fight with them to get a refund, for a defective pair of boots that I should really sue them for because of the damage to the back of my heal, all because I am literally two days out of the 60 day return. Needless to say I will never, ever buy from shoes for crews again, and I suggest you do the same.
