Now that I have finished my weight loss program, it’s up to me to find foods that support my healthier lifestyle. I am building our family meals around foods that are low-glycemic. Pasta is a food I assumed was on the list of things we could no longer have. That was until I discovered Dreamfield pastas; now they are back on my “can have” list.
Dreamfield pastas have low digestible carbs, high fiber and are low glycemic. They were created so that people suffering with health issues could enjoy a healthier pasta option. Dreamfields currently offers spaghetti, angel hair, linguine, elbows, penne rigate, rotini and lasagna. Dreamfields believe in healthy living; they don’t believe in sacrificing the foods you love.
For my review, Dreamfields sent a variety of their pastas including- spaghetti, angle hair, rotini and penne rigate.
One of our favorite family dishes is pasta with turkey sausage and roasted veggies. As soon as the Dreamfields package arrived, I knew I wanted to try the rotini in that dish. While I grilled my turkey sausage, I roasted tomatoes, onion, green and red bell peppers. I followed the cooking instructions on the Rotini box to ensure the perfect pasta texture. Once all ingredients were ready, I combined them and simmered for just a couple minutes. I served the meal to my family and waited….I heard nothing. This was a good sign; no complaint at meal time means they are enjoying it.
Dreamfield pastas are a hit in my family!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I am also on a “food plan” so this info is helpful. I try not to use the “D” word, but we all know what a food plan is!
thanks for this!

Low glycemic pasta? I’ve been hearing a lot about how I need to try the low glycemic diet so thanks for giving me some suggestions of what I can eat!

I’ve purchased this pasta brand before (when it was on sale) but I didn’t realize it was low glycemic index. That’s an added bonus in addition to the great taste!
Oohh, we love pasta! And it’s awesome that there’s a low glycemic index one out there…I just may have to pick some up.
