Within this last year, I have become aware of an increasing number of people who are following a gluten-free diet. Some have switched to a gluten free diet because of health reasons, while others are choosing a gluten free diet in hopes of weight loss or in support of a friend/family member. Whatever the reason, the market for gluten free products is growing and will continue to do so.
In my daughter’s kindergarten class, three (of 21) students were on gluten-free diets. That meant all class snack, needed to be gluten-free. Finding gluten-free snacks that were kid approved was a bit of a challenge for me. I didn’t have any experience with gluten-free foods. I didn’t know which types of foods had gluten and which didn’t. When I Googled for gluten-free snacks and healthy kids snacks, I found Jilz Crackers.
For our review, Jilz Crackers sent us Crackers in three flavors- Tuscan, Mediterranean and Cracked Pepper and Sea Salt. They also sent Mediterranean Cracker Crumbs and Mediterranean Cracker Mix.
Jilz Crackers are scrumptious! They have a wonderful nutty flavor and a great crunch. All three flavors are delicious; however, if I had to choose a favorite it would be the Cracked Pepper and Sea Salt. Jilz Crackers and great right from the package or along with your favorite topping.
Jilz Cracker Crumbs provide a nice and healthy breading for chicken or fish. I haven’t had the chance yet, but I plan to use these with some fresh caught halibut. I know they will be just the right amount of flavoring and texture for the delicate fish.
Jilz Cracker Mix has easy to follow instructions. My daughters love helping me in the kitchen. Making a batch of Jilz Crackers will be a fun afternoon project. I can see us baking these and serving them along with our homemade black bean hummus. Yumm-O!
Jilz Crackers are kid approved. They prove that gluten free snacks are delicious!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

Those look really good. I think that I would love them, but they also look good for my son’s lunches.

I love that they are coming out with more gluten free products! I have quite a number of friends who cannot have gluten at all, due to health issues. So I love that there are more options for them now.

These crackers are very delicious! Found some at local store.
Good with hummus or anything -
I do eat gluten free–my poor gut is irritated by most everything these days it seems–but I try not to buy too many processed foods. I do miss bread and crackers though. I’ll look for this brand in the stores, but many are just so ridiculously priced that I try to get used to eating something else for snacks. I would use them for crumb breading though.

I love Jilz crackers but I have been trying to reach the company for over a week because I ordered some online from them on 7/23 and it is now 7/30/19 and they have yet to ship. The email contact comes back undeliverable and the phone number voice mail box is full. I’m at a loss hear.
Mmm, making me hungry in the middle of the night! I know some people who’d love this.
