Panty lines are a big worry for many women. Certain clothing just doesn’t look good with standard, more traditional underwear, or even the variety we tend to go to in order to reduce panty lines, can also leave us with lines. However, Shibue Couture has come up with a solution to the panty line. They have created the Shibue Strapless Panty, a re-usable, washable panty without any strap lines!
I received the following from Shibue Couture to review:
I received the Shibue Strapless Panty, which comes in black, mocha, and nude, and in various sizes. I also received the Shibue Shoulder Savers, Shibue Round Lift Ups, and Shibue Cover Ups.
The item that Shibue Couture is known for is their Shibue Strapless Panty. The Strapless Panty has no side straps. It has adhesive that sticks to your skin, and keeps the panty in place. It’s really easy to apply, and it’s also washable and reusable. The Shibue Strapless Panty comes with directions, and even has a FAQ and How To Use page on their website.
Basically, the Shibue Strapless Panty was really easy to put on. You stick on the front, and then the back. I have really sensitive skin, so I was worried the adhesive would bother it, but it never did. The panty ended up being quite comfortable. I was also worried that going to the bathroom would be a pain, but it was very easy to get the panty off and back on again. I was quite surprised with how well it actually worked. However, it seemed to start to not re-apply well when doing anything that caused a good amount of sweating, so I wouldn’t recommend them for any really active activity where you’re going to be sweating a lot. You can get it to re-apply in that case, by drying off the area first, but if you’re going to be continually sweating, it can be a bit of a hassle.
Overall, I think the Shibue Couture Strapless Panty is a great alternative for women who don’t want panty lines, or would otherwise go without panties altogether. It’s really easy to use, and re-usable, and is great for any occasion where panty lines are an issue.
I also really liked the Shibue Shoulder Savers. They come in a pack of black, nude, and white. Here’s a close up of the black ones:
You simple place your bra straps through them, and they help prevent digging into the skin. I have to say, the first time I wore them, I had the one on my left shoulder placed strangely, and it actually rubbed my skin, and left a red patch of irritated skin. However, after that, I was careful to place them right on the top of the shoulder, and I haven’t had that problem since. These really make bras a lot more comfortable. I normally have red lines on my shoulders after a long day from where the bra digs in, and these completely stop that from happening.
I also liked the Shibue Cover Ups. These are also reusable, and are great if you want to go bra-less, or under a sheer bra. I also love the idea of the Shibue Round Lift Ups, also reusable, however they are not for me. I have a rather large bust, and the Round Lift Ups didn’t do much lifting for me at all. I would recommend them for anyone with a C cup or below, but anything above probably won’t see the lifting benefits to the product.
Overall, I liked the Shibue Couture products. Their popular strapless panty worked well, and I would recommend them to any woman worried about panty lines. If you’re interested in such products, you should definitely check them out!
