I always am on the look out for unique products. I like owning products that are slightly different than everyone else’s. Often times this means I shop at places that others haven’t heard of before. Tmart is an online website that sells tons of products including toys, electronics, art supplies, storage containers and more. I was recently able to check out four items from Tmart from review and was happy with the quality of all four items, so I am really happy with Tmart in general as a result.

I was sent two storage boxes. One is called the KLY Oxford Cloth Rectangular Cartoon Cute Bear Storage Case. This case is super cute and is a generous size considering the price. It’s 15.75 inches across, 11 inches high and 10.5 inches tall. The walls are thin but sturdy and if you remove the bottom out of the box, the entire thing folds up really small for storing. My hedgehog Henry has belongings such as food bags, puppy pee pads that we line his cage with, his extra bed (so that he has something to sleep in when we’re washing his other bed) and a mini blanket that he likes. I used to set all of these items on the top of his cage for convenience, but it just looked kind of messy with everything sprawled out. I am able to put all of Henry’s stuff in this box and leave the box on top of his cage and it seems much more tidy. The sides of the box have thick handles so even with two 10lb bags of cat food (and other gear) in the box, I can use the carry handles without worrying that the handles won’t hold up. The cover of the box stays attached to the back at all times, so you don’t have to hunt around for the lid, its always right there. When you reach it over the top, there is a small flap that hangs over the front and attaches with velcro to keep it closed.

The other storage case that I received is called the KLY Tiger Bus Stool Holder and was also priced really reasonably at $12.70. This bin is more rectangular in shape – measuring 19 1/4 long, 12 wide and 12 3/4 high. Like the other bin, the walls are fairly thin but also feel really sturdy and there is a very sturdy cardboard piece that you place in the bottom of the bin that allows the bin to keep its form, but can be removed to allow the bin to fold really flat. The top of this bin is separate from the rest, and is thick and cushiony – why, you ask? Because this bin is designed to be used for storage AND seating. It has a weight limit of 125lbs so that children and smaller adults can use this as a small bench. The cushion has extra material on all sides so that when the container is on, the top reaches down over the top an inch or so on all sides so it can’t slide off.  I have been using this to store a huge stack of partially used notebooks that we have as well as some puzzle or wordsearch type books, and coloring books. It’s really surprising how much stuff can fit into this bin, it still has quite a bit of space left over. These would be great for a child’s room in particular, but the size is great for all kinds of uses, really.

The other two items that I was sent for review were from the crafts section – one was a pack of 7 of acrylic paint brushes in varying sizes (for $7.20) and the other was a single liner drawing paint brush ($2.50). I enjoy painting as an emotional release or “coping method” but I really don’t know much of anything about painting at all, and I am not good at all. I just enjoy the process. However, I had been frustrated with being unable to create thin lines while painting with the paint brushes I had. I use acrylic paint, but wasn’t sure if the paint brushes I had previously were intended for acrylic paint or not so I got the acrylic set for that and the tiny brush for fine lines. The tiny brushes bristles tend to splay out so it doesn’t work very well for creating fine lines. However, the acrylic brushes are angled and work really well for creating fine lines so that was a fun surprise. The three larger brushes are very very stiff except for the very end which is slightly moveable. The smaller four from the pack of seven have much more “give” but still stay aligned nicely for creating lines. I didn’t notice any shedding with any of the brushes so I am happy with them.

Overall, I really enjoyed the products that I tried out from Tmart and thought that their prices are great.
