Like most little girls, my daughters love wearing dresses and skirts. The problem is that they also are very active little girls. For modesty reasons, I feel the need to pair their dresses and skirts with leggings, shorts or tights to help cover their undergarments. This is fine during the cooler months, but in the warmer months, they get really hot.
I heard about a company called Monkeybar Buddies and knew I needed to check them out. They make special lightweight, breathable garments that can be worn under dresses and skirts. They currently offer Shorts, Leggings, Capris, Shirts, Barely Buddies (underwear), Baby Buddies (diaper covers) and Buddie Bands (headbands).
For our review, Monkeybar Buddies sent us pink and lavender Shorts.
Monkeybar Buddies Shorts are thin enough you can wear them under dresses and skirts. They keep you covered and cool. They are available in several colors and patterns.
The girls said Monkeybar Buddies are really comfortable and feel great on. The design appears to be cut so that the shorts won’t ride up or look bulky. You can’t tell that the girls are wearing them until they start doing flips and then they just look like cute play shorts.
In addition to loving our Monkeybar Buddies, I appreciate that they included suggestions on how you could reuse the package that Monkeybar Buddies are sent in. This cute little zipper case will be a great coin purse and/or pencil case for the girls. Thank you for the tips!

great idea – we use some old shorts but sometiems having something that truly fits would be nie!
