I enjoy finding products that support healthy living while helping you look and feel your best. I also like being able to share those companies with you. Today I am going to share a company called Hot Tot.

Hot Tot is a line of natural hair care and styling products for kids. They have a hypoallergenic formula that was specially designed to be gentle for kids’ sensitive skin. Hot Tot has researched and carefully chosen their natural ingredients to ensure the very best for their young customers.

For our review, we received Hot Tot Shampoo and Conditioner.

Hot Tot Shampoo and Conditioner have mild formulas. They were designed to gently cleanse and moisturize. When used together they leave your hair soft and looking its best.

My girls have long and fine textured hair. It tangles easily and is prone to flyaway. The craziness of their hair is even worse during the dry summer months and when they are participating in swimming lessons. With Hot Tot their hair was smooth and manageable…even with the extra abuse it was getting from the sun and chlorine.

The girls really liked the packaging on the Hot Tot products. They said the shiny crown made them feel like princesses.

My favorite (in addition to the exceptional performance of the product) is the smell. Hot Tot products have a refreshing botanical smell. It isn’t overpowering and is nice for both boys and girls.

Hot Tot is made in the USA. They are a sustainable business and socially responsible. Hot Tot donates a portion of proceeds to various children’s charities.

You can connect with Hot Tot on facebook, twitter and pinterest.

I have to admit I love the name! It reminds me of Tator tots for some reason. 🙂

My son is 3 years old and this would be perfect for him. I’ve been using a different brand of organic shampoo on him and his hair is so dry. I need to try this since it has both a shampoo and conditioner that may work better on him.

This is not an organic product and should not be promoted as such. That is not to say that it is unsafe or does not perform but it is a brand that is competing with products that are organic or are formulated using premium ingredients. Sticking a crown on the label and calling it “organic” is disingenuous. There are much better and honest products on the market.

  • I really found your reviews enlightening. Natural products, especially when using around our kids, are vitally important and we need to support this by sharing information. Thanks!
