I was sent a pair of Jack & Lily Shoes in Solid Brown for review.  I chose to get them in a size 12-18 months for our 14 month old son.  He has been going bare foot all Summer because I didn’t have any shoes for him in his current size but he didn’t seem to mind having no shoes on during our hot MN Summer.  The Solid Brown Shoes arrived displayed in a cute box that would be perfect for gift giving.  They are a gorgeous brown color that will match practically everything.   The shoes are made from premium hand crafted, breathable leather.  The sole is made from a flexible soft rubber that feels sturdy and well made which can be worn both indoors and out.  My favorite feature is the velcro closure.  If you have ever tried putting shoes that have buckles, ties, or any other gadget for closure on a baby, you’ll understand what a blessing velcro is.  Velcro makes the job of putting shoes on your little one easy, quick, and painless for everyone involved.  Even my husband doesn’t mind that job when velcro is involved.

Since our son has been bare foot all Summer, he wasn’t sure what to think about shoes.  He kept pointing to them and “talking”.  I think he was asking what on Earth I put on him.  But he was playing around in no time and was quite comfortable wearing his Jack & Lily Shoes. We really like these shoes. With all the great features and the fact that our son is comfortable, I will definitely be visiting Jack & Lily for future shoes.
