KicKee Pants is a family run and family focused company that offers adorable and charming styles for mothers, babies, and children. Kickee Pants products are created with the idea that children should comfortable and unrestricted in their clothing, including dress apparel. Clothing needs to allow children the freedom to enjoy themselves and not confine them.

The Solid Footie in River I received is a gorgeous rich blue color.  As soon as I touched the Footie, though, I was in love.  I have never seen, felt, or owned any Bamboo clothing before so this was a new experience.  I couldn’t believe the softness and quality you can feel in KicKee Pants products.  The Solid Footie comes with flip paws to cover your child’s hands in case they are cold or to prevent scratching.  I have never seen this feature on footies for older children before and I really like it.  At least the option is available if I need it, especially with our cold Minnesota Winters.  The inside of the feet are lined with a soft cozy fleece for added comfort and the outside bottoms have embroidered spots to aid in preventing slips and falls.

I was so excited about the Footie that I put this on our 1 year old the day it arrived.  As soon as he was in them, you could see the comfort in his face.  The Footie fit him perfectly and he was able to easily play without hinderence.   Once we went to bed, I was sold.  He fell asleep in record time and slept through the night (not something that happens every night yet!)  I ended up having to wash them after the first wear because of a leaky diaper in the morning and I am happy to report that this is the best a piece of clothing has ever washed for me.  The softness is still perfect and there was no sign of wash-wear.

The other item I received was the Print Long Sleeve Polo in River Lattice for our almost three year old son.  Again, the feel of this shirt is beyond amazing.  It is made from 95% Viscose from bamboo and 5% Spandex.  I would typically buy our son a size 3 but this is a size 4 and it fits him well.

Our son really likes his shirt.  He was all smiles and held still only a moment for a photo before he was off again.  This shirt is adorable and could be dressed up for a special occasion or dressed down with jeans for every day.  Either way, you can be assured that your child will be comfortable in this Long Sleeve Polo.

I am so happy to have learned about KicKee Pants.  They have so many adorable styles and the quality is top notch.  They have adorable newborn sets that make me want another baby and even carry a blanket line as well as a swaddling trio.  Most of all, though, I am stoked that they carry items for moms.  I think their robe would make a great Christmas present.
