Summer is still here but beginning to wind down slowly. However, this does not mean that you need to stop enjoying the outdoors. Gardens are in full bloom, the days are still beautiful, green grass is growing, and we need to enjoy the warm weather before Winter hits.  To help us, I was sent the Aruba Jet Set Brazilian Hammock from Yard Envy for review.

I have always dreamed of owning a hammock and our children have been asking for a hammock ever since they enjoyed one at a relatives graduation party a couple years ago.  It was the hit of the party and there was actually a line by it all day.  (You would think there was an amusement park ride at the end of the line it was such a hot item.)  So we were thrilled when the package from Yard Envy arrived.  My husband set to work assembling the Aruba Jet Set Brazilian Hammock in Juniper Blue.  It was quite simple and the directions were easy to follow.  He said it was one of the easiest things he’s ever assembled and all tools and parts needed were included..

After the hammock was assembled, we couldn’t keep the kids off.  They were super excited to finally have their own hammock.  We had some friends over and the hammock was large enough for six of our children, ages one through eight, to fit at once.   I would say monkey pile except this amazing hammock at  50″H x 40″W x 80″L fit them all comfortably.  The hammock is made from cotton and soft to the touch.  The colors on the Juniper Blue Hammock are a gorgeous striped mix that entice you to come lay down and relax.  I did get a turn on it when I sent the kids in the house to grab a snack.  I was worried that it would spill me out because I’ve been on some pretty tipsy hammocks before but the Yard Envy Aruba Jet Set Brazilian Hammock was sturdy and quite easy to get in to.

I really like the fact that it will be easy to take down and store for the Winer.  If things are difficult to disassemble, they don’t usually get put away like they should.  By taking the hammock down for our long MN Winters, we should be able to enjoy it for years to come.

Now I wonder if my dream of lying in the hammock taking a nice afternoon nap will ever come true?  I have a feeling that if I alter that dream to include four little bodies next to me, I have a fighting chance.  Plus, with a weight limit of 250 pounds, we would still have some room to spare.
