I have come to learn that Chicken Soup for the Soul books are very therapeutic for a lot of people.  I never know anyone’s reasons for needing to read these stories except for my own, but I have learned some of the reason’s by reading Chicken Soup for the Soul Reader’s Choice which I was sent for review.  When I received this new book I really didn’t know what to expect and I didn’t know how it could possibly be different enough to actually be interesting.  I soon learned what made this book so special.  The crazy thing is that I only had to read the introduction to find out.  The introduction to Chicken Soup for the Soul Reader’s Choice made me curious and was so intriguing that I was ready to read the entire book.  I can honestly say that I probably read this book quicker then any of the others.

You may be wondering what makes this book so different from the others, but you will soon find out.  We all know that there are certain stories in each Chicken Soup for the Soul books that we can relate to.  If you are like me, you may wonder what inspires or speaks to other people when they are reading these incredible stories.  Well Chicken Soup for the Soul Reader’s Choice invites you into that world.  In this particular book you will find a new story that you have never read before, but what is unique about these stories is that they explain what a certain story from a previous Chicken Soup for the Soul meant to a certain person.  This story is written and then directly after that story, you will find the original story that the author was speaking of.  The reason I find that unique is that you get to step into someone else’s shoes and see each story from a different prospective.  I really enjoyed this aspect and it made the old stories carry a different meaning to me.  It was just amazing to see how we can each interpret a story and how one story can touch so many different lives for so many different reason.  I applaud Chicken Soup for the Soul for this book!  It has truly been one of my favorites!
