*I was provided with a Tooth Tunes toothbrush & other One Direction products in exchange for this review. All opinions are my own.
If you head down the oral care aisle in any store, you’ll find all kinds of oral care items aimed at getting young children interested in brushing their teeth. From preschool cartoon characters on toothbrush to toothpaste with packs of stickers to “decorate” – the options are pretty endless. There are far less “exciting” options for tweens though. Sure there are oral care products for this age range, but they are typically pretty plain. Arm & Hammer has come out with a line of Tooth Tune Electric toothbrushes to help get Tweens excited about their oral care routine.
The tooth tune toothbrushes feature popular musicians for tweens such as One Direction and Selena Gomez. As children brush their teeth, the toothbrush sends sound vibrations through their teeth so that they can hear music while they brush. The songs even play for two minutes to encourage children to brush their teeth for the proper amount of time.
I wasn’t sure how loud the music would be seems how the sound vibrations come out of the bristles of the toothbrush. When standing right next to someone using a tooth tunes, you can hear the song well enough that you can catch all of the words to the song but it’s not loud enough to be annoying or wake someone up in another room.
I gave a One Direction tooth tunes (along with a One Direction pencil case and One Direction mechanical pencils) to my 10 year old sister who is a One Direction fan and she really likes all of the products. They have been a fun way to get her excited about taking care of her teeth as she heads back to school.
It seems a bit early, but the holidays will be here before we know it and Tooth Tunes brushes would be great stocking stuffer idea. If you have a child in the 3-6 range, there is a Tooth Tunes Jr line that is designed for smaller hands and mouths and play KIDZ BOP songs!
Buy it: You can find Tooth Tunes at places like Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, and Kmart.
Connect: Connect with Tooth Tunes on their website (psst – check out the $2 off coupon).

This is great! Our daughter loved brushing with the Tooth Tunes toothbrush and the “What Makes You Beautiful” Toothbrush! 🙂

How cool! They have such neat stuff now! If I had a tween I’m sure they would love that!

I have to say…. I can’t figure out all of this One Direction mania… Which I think means that I’m old. I’m pretty sure that this is what my mom felt like when I was in love with New Kids on the Block. Lol.

We have those too – it’s funny because my son (who is 10) had never heard the word ‘tween’ before that, and he keeps calling himself a “between” because he kinda doesn’t get it 🙂
Those are great brushes, the fact that they time how long they brush is awesome!
That’s really fun! I think I would like to use a One Direction Tooth Tunes to brush my own teeth.
