The prize here at Emily Reviews is sponsored by Reed’s Inc, a company that makes sodas and other drinks in lots of fun varieties and flavors. We were able to taste test their Flying Cauldron Butterscotch “beer” which isn’t a beer at all but instead is just soda. However, it comes in a bottle similar to beer. It’s name, label and fun bottle shape make it a perfect drink for Halloween parties whether the are for kids or adults. Ryan & I are rather picky about beverage flavors so we weren’t sure what we would think of this. I found it almost too-sweet to drink but Ryan loved it. It has a very strong butterscotch, sugary taste that almost makes it seem like you’re drinking liquid caramel. The Reed website suggests making “Giggle potion” freezing a beer mug in the freezer and then pouring in a Flying Cauldron Butterscotch drink and vanilla ice cream for a fun alternative to a rootbeer float.
Our giveaway will have 3 winners, each will get a case (6 4-packs – 24 bottles total) of this butterscotch soda! A $28 value per winner.
