I have become quite fond of statement necklaces. I love the pop of color, declaration of texture and testimony of pattern that a necklace can add to your outfits. The only real rule to statement necklace is that there are NO rules. Wear these necklaces with anything and everything. Wear them not just because they “go-with” your outfit, but wear them because they make you feel and look sensational!

One of my new favorite shops for statement necklaces is a boutique called the Hawthorn Collection. Hawthorn Collection has a fantastic line of trendy fashion accessories for you to choose from. They offer an assortment of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and scarves.

For my review, Hawthorne Collection sent me a Crystal Feather Necklace and a pair of Chandelier Earrings.

The Crystal Feather Necklace features Crystals in a medium blue colored cabochon (a gem or bead cut in a curved shape and polished) and a yellow gold chain. The first thing I noticed when I picked up with necklace was how heavy the front part of the necklace was. Then I noticed how light the chain was. The two parts balance out and are very comfortable to wear. I love how cheery the blue is; it’s like the sky on a clear spring day.

My Chandelier Earrings are cream in color. They have 5 tiers of elegant looking cream stones. The website suggests that you wear the chandelier earrings to dress up an outfit or pair them with a casual sweater and jeans. I am not very good about changing my earrings yet. I think these earrings with be just the piece I needed to make me more aware of my earring choices.

I also received another beautiful floral necklace for review and evidently it was a big hit with shoppers because it is now out of stock and unavailable. This necklace has a bouquet of mint, turquoise, and purple colored cabochon with a yellow gold chain.
