For the last at least two years, I have heard my mom say how much she wanted a pair of clogs. She used to wear them back in her “hippy” days (her words) and wished she could find some in today’s fashion styles.  She said she loves the craftsmanship, the look and the way they make her feet feel. Her birthday was in early September. This year I was able to get her a gift I knew she would love and cherish. I was able to get her Sandgrens Clogs!

For my review, I received the Philly boot in Marina (a beautiful dusty teal blue).

Since these were for my mom, the following are her opinions and thoughts.

Sandgrens Clogs is definitely high on my list of favorites.   This company prides itself on producing a quality Swedish clog for its customers.   I was very impressed when I visited their website and saw not only the huge variety of their standard “clogs” but also clog sandals, boots, booties, etc.  They had every clog imaginable and in colors that only nature could surpass.

I was told the sizes run small so I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear and I’m very glad I did.  As it is, my long narrow foot touches the end of the toe area.   The boot is plenty wide enough (I can even slip it off without unzipping it).  

I love these Clog Boots!    I wore them with leggings and a short denim skirt and received so many compliments, even from complete strangers, that I considered handing out business cards with the name of the company, style/color of the boot and the contact information for placing orders.  Seriously, that many people stopped to comment on them.

These boots are very high quality, extremely comfortable, definitely stylish and unique enough that I felt special wearing them.  I often like to wear at least one item that catches attention and these boots definitely did that.  Of course, if you wanted to tone it down a bit, they would look awesome pared with jeans or a long skirt.
