Thank you SugarSNAP

and for sponsoring this giveaway.
These are my own honest opinions.

There used to be a time where all I had to worry about when leaving the house was to make sure I was wearing (matching) shoes, had my keys and wallet. That worry-free era ended when my daughter was born. All of a sudden, I had to make sure I had a million things with me from diapers and wipes to toys and bibs, blanket and snacks, the list goes on and on!

Every time, before heading out, I had to go through a mental list of essentials to make sure everything I could possibly need was packed. It made for a very full, very disorganized diaper bag. Now, with Baby #2 due in a just a few weeks, I am determined to do a better job at being organized.

sugarsnap logoStacy Cooper Dent and Tarah Smith Evans, both moms to twins and creators of SugarSNAP, faced the same challenge and were determined to find a solution: they created a set of Files to make sure everything was neatly organized and easily accessible.

SugarSNAP Files are actually lightweight bags made of see-through and breathable mesh on the front and beautiful colored fabric at the back. The set contains 5 bags, in various sizes. Each bag has a clip so you can attach it to the large 2-inch ring included with the files. SugarSNAP Files come in 4 different color combinations as you can see below.

Not only is the mesh see-through which helps to locate things easily but there are also tabs on top of each bag that clearly identify the content. If you get the original SugarSNAP Files, they will be pre-identified with the following labels: Shirts + Socks, Dipes + Wipes, Snacks + Supplies, Lotions + Potions, and Me + Mine. You can also get the Mine+Me Collection Files which also comes with 5 bags. The difference is that the tabs are blank and you can choose the labels that you want from 18 high-quality stickers included.

For this review, I chose a Me+Mine Collection set in Wyatt (black and white fabric with gray trim). First of all, I like that it’s a great gender neutral and neutral color combination. I’m all for pink and glitter for my daughter’s stuff but since we don’t know the gender of Baby #2, it seemed smarter to go with a neutral option.

Then I opened up each bag and noticed that each one has an inspirational saying which is a nice touch, especially when you have a frantic baby and you haven’t slept much in the last few days.

My main challenge right now has to do with choosing the labels for each bag. I decided to give myself a couple weeks with Baby #2 before committing to labels. I’ll take that time to figure out what I want to bring with me and which items can fit in a smaller bag and which items can only fit in a large bag. At the moment, my Files are actually filled with the stuff that Baby and I will need if we end up on the hospital (we are planning a home birth but I do have a bag ready just in case we need to transfer to the hospital). It was really easy to organize everything and I’m confident that even my husband will be able to find things quickly.

Overall, I am thrilled with my SugarSNAP Files. I’m so happy to finally have a way to keep everything that Baby, my daughter and I need, neatly organized. I like that I don’t even need a diaper bag with a million pockets anymore. I can simply use any bag that I like and pack it with my SugarSNAP Files!
