Our 8 year old daughter loves stylish clothes, accessories, shoes, and boots. Most of the time, she is just as thrilled when she receives a new piece of clothing or shoes as when she gets a new toy.  It seems like our children’s feet grow so fast that their shoes are barely worn before a new size is needed once again.  That, coupled with the fact that the holidays are approaching, I was starting to keep my eyes open for  a nice pair of shoes for her.  So when I stumbled upon Bumbums & Baubles, I was excited to learn more.

Co-founded by two best friends, Amanda Kludt and Caitlin Zapf, the vision for Bumbums & Baubles was to create a unique yet stylish and well-made pair of shoes.  Bumbums & Baubles was officially launched in stores and online in 2012 and word is spreading about their great products and the fact that girls can accessorize with a variety of Baubles.  I was able to partner with Bumbums & Baubles for this review and now I know why they are the talk of the town.

I was sent a pair of Lily Mary Jane Shoes in Silver Sparkle and Fairy Baubles for our daughter.  I was unsure of what size to go with since they only come in whole sizes.  She was in 12 1/2 but I was worried that if I ordered a 13, they may be too small but I was told that Bumbums & Baubles shoes run about a half size big.  So upon their suggestion, I ordered the 13.  I’m so glad I did because the shoes fit great with a little room to spare.

As soon as we saw the Lily Mary Janes, we fell in love.  The silver sparkly toe accent is definitely an eye catcher and so stylish.  Each pair of shoes comes with two matching bow baubles that you can place on the snap closure band by the toe or on the ankle strap.  They are easy to move or even remove if you want a classic no bow look.  The first thing our daughter said when she put these shoes on is how comfortable they were.  Actually, she didn’t want to take them back off.  The shoes are made from 100% leather with the exception of the sparkly toe.  The shoes are also cushioned to provide extra comfort and fully lined with 100% leather to prevent “stinky feet syndrome” as well.

 The Lily Mary Jane Shoes were a hit at church and held up perfectly for a day at the park.  Typically “nice dress shoes” are the last thing that a child can wear to play in.  They tend to be slippery, uncomfortable, and scuff easily.  Bumbums & Baubles have made a great shoe that allowed her to run, jump, climb, and play at the park safely with no problems.  When we left the park, her shoes still looked brand new!  Very impressive in my book.  Now I want to get a pair in each color and style for her since we likes them so much.
