In my opinion, art can make a home feel welcoming, attractive, and really brighten a room. While I used to only think that art meant pictures I purchased that were inanimate objects, I have come to learn that my favorite kind of art is my family. With all the wonderful options that are now available out there, I really enjoy having pictures of our family to display. I grew up with some cheap glass picture frames on our walls (where the glass was always falling out and the frames were falling apart) but there are so many better ways now readily at my disposal. I do still enjoy having a portrait in a glass frame of each of our children so I can update every few months when we head to the local photography store but the real pieces of art in my home are the canvas prints of my family.
I was able to partner with Canvas Press for this review. Canvas Press is a company dedicated to giving their customers a small family-friendly feel and delivering the finest quality canvas possible by using quality sprays, frames, inks, printers, and canvas materials.
I decided that I was going to get a photo of my husband and myself to put on canvas. While I take lots of photos of the kids, it’s a rare occurrence to see the two of us in a photo at the same time, much less alone. For my second print, my husband snapped a great shot of the kids and I outside on some nice landscaping. (Minus the fact that he got his big ole finger in EVERY picture! I was just hoping I’d be able to crop it out.) Now that I had the intended photos in hand, I was ready.
I headed over to the Canvas Press website. I was easily able to upload my photos. From there, I chose what size I needed and selected what type of border I wanted. I chose a black boarder for both prints. Thankfully, I was able to zoom in and crop both photos to my liking. Yeah! Then I continued on and added the two 8*10 canvasses to my cart. Super easy. Adding my information and payment info went off without a hitch and my order was placed. One thing to note, once you place your order, a confirmation screen will appear and your original photo (before any edits) will appear. I freaked. I thought for sure that I messed up and didn’t save my edits and I’d be receiving a canvas of my husbands big ole finger. I quickly called Canvas Press and was kindly told not to worry. All edits are saved and what I saw was the full photo. Phew! Now I just had to sit back and wait.
Once my prints arrived, I held off about all of five minutes before opening them. I was like a kid on Christmas. I was happy to see the canvases were well packaged to avoid any damage during shipping.
One thing I really like that Canvas Press does to their prints is prepare them for hanging. One less hassle for me. I noticed right away how thick and beautifully completed the edges of the canvas prints are as well. Very professional looking.
I have to say that I am so impressed. The process to creating my canvases was so simple. By far the quickest easiest process of any companies that I’ve used. Canvas Press has delivered one of the best quality canvas prints that I’ve ever seen and I will definitely be recommending them to my family and friends. While the pricing is higher than some other companies, the quality is top notch. My new canvases definitely completed my entry way corner.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
