I was sent Crystal Farm Cheese Nibblers for review.  Nibblers are a new cheese snack from Crystal Farms with four different flavors available.  The flavors are Smoky BBQ Seasoned Cheddar Cheese Nibblers, Habanero Seasoned Pepper Jack Cheese Nibblers, Chipotle Pepper Seasoned Cheddar Cheese Nibblers and Sour Cream & Onion Monterey Jack Cheese Nibblers.  The Nibblers come in a 1.5 oz bag and are 100% real cheese.  Each single serve bag contains 9-10 grams of protein which I think is fabulous.

My son was really excited when we received the Nibblers for review.  He loves cheese and had not ever had any type of flavored cheese so he was also very curious.  As soon as we received the cheese I barely had enough time to snap a picture before he started testing out each flavor.  I tried the flavors along with him.

I really thought Little C’s favorite flavor would be the Sour Cream & Onion because he typically loves anything with that flavor.  That was not the case with the Nibblers.  I’m thinking it was because it was Monterey Jack cheese and he had never had that before.  We eat mostly cheddar in our house along with mozzarella.  I also was not a huge fan of the Sour Cream & Onion.  My husband does not like anything that is flavored with Sour Cream & Onion so he wouldn’t even try it, lol.

We tried the Smoky BBQ Seasoned Cheddar Cheese Nibblers next.  We both really liked this flavor.  It had a nice mixture of cheese and the smoky taste that I love.  I believe this was our favorite.  The smoky taste was not too overwhelming like I was afraid it would be.  I was pleasantly surprised.  My husband liked this flavor as well.  My son chose to snack on this pack the day we opened the cheese.  I would have to say that it was his favorite.

As for the Habanero Seasoned Pepper Jack Cheese Nibblers, I was really afraid that it would be too spicy for us.  We don’t eat a lot of spicy foods in our family, but I actually liked this flavor quite a bit.  I have stayed away from spicy foods since I have been pregnant because I was afraid that any type of spice would cause me to have heartburn, but it didn’t.  I was surprised by that as well.  My son and husband were a little skeptical to try the Habanero, but I finally talked them into it and they both agreed that it was not too spicy.

The last cheese we tried was the Chipotle Pepper Seasoned Cheddar Cheese Nibblers.  I am not a big fan of the Chipotle flavor, but it wasn’t too overwhelming and I was able to eat it.  My son actually liked this one a lot.  I was shocked by that, however like I said, we do love cheddar cheese so I think that may have made a huge difference in what was the most popular around my house.

If you are looking for a great after school snack for your kids or a quick, easy snack for yourself I would definitely suggest trying out the Crystal Farms Nibblers.  The cheese is great alone or with crackers.  I felt good about giving Little C the Nibblers for a snack because it wasn’t junk food or food filled with a bunch of a sugar.  It was satisfying and gave him the energy he needed to complete his homework in the afternoons.  I love quality snacks and I definitely think that Crystal Farms has created a great one!
