The past few years have taken me on the quest to find products that contained less ingredients, chemicals, and are a bit more natural.  What started this quest was the fact that we were having miscarriages, three to be exact, and the doctors could find no medical reason why.  After speaking with a natural path doctor, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try to cut out our exposure to chemicals and toxins as much as we could.  While I don’t know if it worked, we have been blessed with three beautiful boys since starting this journey.  We did have another miscarriage since switching our lifestyle a bit but I’m still convinced that the steps we’ve taken to eliminate harmful products has been beneficial to my family’s health.  I have recently come across the brand Zim’s and had the chance to partner with them on this review.  The Zim’s Brand is dedicated to providing naturally based products to their customers that will help improve lives. Zim’s offers over twenty-five products that live up to the high Zim’s standard and are packed with the best that nature offers.

I received an assortment of Zim’s products including: Zim’s Advanced Crack Creme, Zim’s Advanced Gel, Zim’s Arnica Max, Zim’s Crack Creme Herbal Lip Care, and Zim’s Crack Creme Crack Stick Lip Moisturizer.  Zim’s just recently released some of these products.  The Advanced Crack Creme with Hydrocortisone combines Arnica and Aloe with Gydrocortisone to help relive minor skin irritations, itching, and rashes.  The Arnica Max was created to help relieve minor aches and pains of muscles and joints from simple backaches, bruises, strains, arthritis, and sprains.  The Advanced Gel with Acemannan and Arnica is great for minor cuts, abrasions, scrapes, and burns.

I have been struggling with dry cracked peeling lips for about a year now.  I am constantly applying chapstick.  I have no idea what caused this problem.  I’ve increased my water intake and have seen no improvement.  Water is my beverage of choice to begin with and the only other time I drink anything else is a glass of milk with breakfast.  So I don’t think it’s because I’m dehydrated.  Whatever the reason, I have been unable to find a product to help me, until now.  As soon as my Zim’s package arrived, I grabbed the Crack Creme Crack Stick Lip Moisturizer and applied some.  This product seems to coat to better any of the previous products I’ve tried.  While I couldn’t immediately feel any changes, I kept an open mind.  I applied once more before heading to bed.  In the morning, I woke up to lips that were still a little dry but there was definitely a difference!  They didn’t hurt for the first time in awhile.  I have continued to put some Crack Stick Lip Moisturizer on whenever I remember (it’s harder to remember when my lips don’t bother me all day anymore) and I am continuing to feel and see the difference.  I have high hopes that Zim’s Crack Stick Lip Moisturizer will continue to help me and protect my lips this Winter.

We have also tried the Gel Acemannan.  Both my daughter and I had scrapes and cuts on our hands that we tested this product on.  The gel goes on easily and is cool and refreshing to the cuts.  We both saw a quick improvement to our injuries by the next day.  I am pleased to have this on hand, especially with four young children and a few litters of kittens around here.

I have also been struggling with a rash? or something on my neck from time to time.  I’m positive that I must be allergic to something but I haven’t figured out what it is.  Starting this Summer, there were days I would have a really itchy neck and would have splotches (rash spots?) throughout.  I had tried a few other products and nothing has helped.  I woke up once again last week with the symptoms.  I reached for the Zim’s Crack Creme Organic Aloe and Arnica with Hydrocortisone to see if  this product would make a difference.  Typically the act of applying something to my neck will even make it worse so I very gently applied some of this cream.  Within about a minute the itchy feeling started fading and within the hour my neck was noticeably less red and irritated.  I have not had another incident since but I am grateful that I now have a product at hand that I know can help.
