I have received a Philips Satin Perfect Epilator for review. All opinions are my own.
When I was presented with options of what to review for the holiday season from Philips one of the items I chose was the Satin Perfect Epilator. I looked at the info for this particular product and thought I would absolutely love it! To be honest with you, I haven’t used the Epilator yet. I am sharing the facts with you before I actually use it because I want everyone to see how awesome this product could be. I am excited about trying the Philips Satin Perfect Epilator out after I have my baby. It is so hard to shave right now as it is that I really didn’t feel like I would get good use out of the Epliator at this time. If I wasn’t so far along I would have loved to have tried it because it would have made things much easier now that it is so hard to shave.
Facts from Philips about the Satin Perfect Epilator:
- Textured ceramic discs gently grip and remove even the finest and and shortest (.5mm) hair.
- Body contouring head follows every curve of your body.
- Two speed setting allows you to use the ideal epilation speed for your skin type.
- Built in opti light reveals tiny, fine hairs clearly.
- Active hairlifter and massaging system vibrates and removes flay lying hairs, while stimulating and soothing the skin.
- Optimal performance cap pivots for ideal skin contact.
- Cordless for up to 40 minutes of usage time.
- Washable head.
Now that you have the facts straight from Philips about the Satin Perfect Epilator, I can tell you the few things I have tried out. As I mentioned before, I haven’t used the epilator to shave but I have turned it on to check out the 2 different speeds, the light and I have also checked the directions that came in the box. Once I received the epilator I was so excited that I automatically took it out of the box. It is shaped like a normal razor, but the head is quite different. I turned the epilator on and was quite shocked at how fast the discs turn. I wasn’t quite expecting that. It is a little on the loud side, but that noise doesn’t really bother me. I love that it has a light so that you can see what you are doing. I have a feeling that will be very helpful. I was also concerned about how hard the epilator would be to clean, but the head is easily removable and you can just stick it under the water. The set also comes with a little cleaning brush that will help you remove the hair so that you don’t damage the discs. As per the instructions you may want to use an alcohol free lotion when you are finished so that your skin doesn’t break out. It says that irritation should decrease with each use.
Getting the Satin Perfect Epilator for Christmas would be a great gift because you can get your legs ready to bare in the Spring! You should only need to use the epilator every couple of weeks. The epilator would be perfect for vacations especially in the Spring and Summer. I know that shaving while at the beach can be such hassle. With the epilator your skin will be perfect for the beach! If you are wanting the Philips Satin Perfect Epilator for yourself for Christmas make sure to hint around to your significant other or any family member so that they will know! This is also a great gift for women in your family that may want less of a hassle while shaving. Have fun shopping this holiday season and make sure to check out the Satin Perfect Epilator.
