These are my own honest opinions.

  Live Clean is one of my favorite brands when it comes to skin care products. Why? Simply because their products are eco-friendly and plant-based without any harsh chemicals. They contain no sulfates, no petroleum, no paraben, and are not tested on animals. They smell wonderful and are gentle on baby’s skin. I’ve been using their products for many months now and I am still totally satisfied!

Sounds wonderful, doesn’t it? Well, before you head to the store, let me tell you that Live Clean Baby has a wonderful gift set that would make a great present for a baby or a mother-to-be. The set contains 4 essential products: Baby Wash (300 ml bottle), Baby Lotion  (227 ml bottle), Non Petroleum Jelly (120 g), and Diaper Ointment (75 g). As you can see, these are not trial-sized, they are full-size and will last for months!

I was already familiar with the Baby Wash and it is a great product. As I said before, it’s gentle even on delicate skin and leaves a subtle scent on baby’s skin. It does not dry the skin out and can be used on the body, face, and hair so no need to buy 2-3 different products.

The Baby Lotion is one of my favorite Live Clean products! This lotion is potent! My daughter had really dry and peeling skin around her wrist and ankles shortly after birth. I didn’t want to use any perfume-y cream on her nor any cream that had lots of chemicals in it. I applied the Live Clean Baby Lotion a couple times a day and the peeling disappearing instantly. I was so jealous I started using it on myself and it works wonders on my dry winter skin (I know it’s not quite winter but it’s cold here and we have snow so my skin feels like it’s winter). I like that it’s creamy, not too thick, and quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving greasy residue.

The Non Petroleum Jelly is an interesting product because unlike most products used to create a moisture barrier on baby’s skin, it contains absolutely no petroleum. It is hypoallergenic and is fragrance free, preservative free, and paraben and phtalate free. It is both easy to apply and easy to wipe off. It also helps to prevent messes from sticking on baby’s skin which means diaper changes are easier.

I haven’t been able to test the Diaper Ointment because it contains zinc oxide which is great to create a moisture barrier but ruins cloth diapers because they absorb it and become water repellent. If I could use a product with zinc oxide, I would look for one such as this one because, like all Live Clean Baby products, it is almost entirely derived from plant ingredients.
