Grooming products like bath sets often make great gifts for women, but there isn’t often an equivalent for men. I’m always surprised when I go down the bath products aisle at stores, and see how limited the men’s section is. Men just do not have many options when it comes to grooming products. ManCave is a line of quality grooming products for men that are natural and free of unhealthy ingredients that are in many other grooming products. I was very happy to be able to receive some products for my fiancé to try out.

I received the ManCave Originals Set, which contains ManCave’s aluminum free Deodorant, Caffeine Shampoo, Shower Gel, FaceWash, and Face Moisturiser.

My fiancé tried out these products, and really liked them overall. The Caffeine Shampoo has a really rich lather, and cleans well, and is nourishing. It left his hair feeling soft, and smelling really nice. The Shower Gel also lathered up nicely, and cleaned well, without bothering his skin at all. He thought the FaceWash cleaned well, without irritation, and the Face Moisturiser really moisturized his face well. They all had a very masculine, musky yet clean, soapy scent. He wasn’t too sure about the scent at first, but he’s grown to like it, and I liked it right away.

My fiancé really liked the Moisturiser the best. He normally has oily skin, and this moisturizer really helped keep his face oil-free, for even hours afterward. The skin on his face looked really good when he wore it. The ManCave Moisturiser has UV absorbers and Vitamin E to protect the skin from free radicals. It also has caffeine in it to stimulate the skin, making it more healthy looking.

I personally tried the Face Moisturiser. I have really sensitive skin, and since this moisturizer has scent in it, it stung my skin a bit. My fiancé prefers his moisturizer to be scented, so he really liked it. However, if you, or your loved one, has really sensitive skin, he may find this moisturizer irritating.

The ManCave Deodorant is a liquid deodorant. My fiancé generally doesn’t like those types of deodorants, but he did like how natural this deodorant is. It is aluminum free, and is formulated with a natural anti-bacterial agent to remove odor, but it is not an anti-perspirant. It does not block your pores like other deodorants do.

All ManCave products are natural products. None of them contain parabens, sulphates (SLS SLES), synthetic dye, petrochemicals, ingredients from animal sources and are not tested on animals. The ManCave products seen here are all Vegan friendly products.

Overall, my fiancé really liked these men’s grooming products from ManCave. They work well, smell great, and he loves that they do not contain harmful, unhealthy ingredients. This set, or these products would make a great holiday gift for any man.
